Four decades at the Top : The COLOR CLIMAX story began in 1968, with the reform of the Danish pornography laws, and the publication of COLOR CLIMAX 1. A few years before this reform, the 2 brothers were already active in the sale of Hardcore material, which could be bought "under the counter" in their modest secondhand shop in Copenhagen (Denmark), so they were already experienced and ready for legalization of Porn in Denmark. Quantity and quality : The first editions of COLOR CLIMAX concentrated as much on content as with production quality. Collectors wanted to see a lot more raw porn than the average sex mags available. The Color Climax Corporation made sure they got it. C.C.C seemed to know exactly what to do. The keyword was Improvement : The first editions of COLOR CLIMAX retro sex mags might be considered to be a little primitive, when they are compared to the beautiful, glossy covered editions that C.C.C published later.
